I'd always imagined the possibility of having a dress made for me but after numerous failed visits to dress shops and nothing ever coming close to what was in my head, sitting down with Charlotte one afternoon and her telling me all of my crazy ideas were possible, I knew working with her was for me. My dress was the most exquisite item of clothing I've ever owned and EVERYTHING I could have wanted and more. It was as if Charlotte delved into my head and brought my crazy vision to life. But aside from the dress itself, the whole process of making the dress was wonderful too - I loved my appointments at Charlotte's studio, choosing fabrics and deciding on colours and picking accessories - she made everything feel fun and exciting and I knew I was in good hands the whole way through. I miss my visits to her studio so much, I wish I could do it all over again! “The original dress I bought from a shop, I thought was my dream dress, but when I went for alterations I didn’t look or feel right. I had a picture in my head of what I wanted to look like, So I bought a simple halter neck dress and took it to Charlotte with an image I scribbled on a piece of paper, for a tulle overlay with a cascade of pink ombré flowers and a big bow at the back.
Charlotte really listened to what I wanted and brought the sketch to life and made a dress beyond what I had imagined. It was beautiful, the craftsmanship that went into the dress, and especially each individually made and hand painted flower (100’s of them), was nothing short of exceptional.
The entire way through my fittings she was kind, professional and approachable, on time, friendly, included me in decisions, and was just brilliant - I could go on forever!
She just really “got” the vision I had in my head and I couldn’t be more grateful that she made me such a stunning dress and and made me feel my absolute best on my wedding day. I miss going to appointments and spending time with her.

“From our initial chat via zoom, I immediately felt that she got me and I understood why I hadn't been able to find "the one" in a bridal shop. Quality and beautiful fabric were so important to me but mainly the cut of the dress, how well it was put together and that it suited my shape. Despite living at almost opposite ends of the country, Charlotte always accommodated the few times I was able to travel down to see her. She even made me a veil and hand embroidered the most beautiful Eastern Bluebird on it for me, this had special meaning as well as being my something blue. ‘I would like to thank Charlotte for the amazing job she did on my wedding dress. When I first went to see her I had an idea of what I wanted but was unsure about certain aspects of the dress. It's hard when you yourself don't actually know exactly what you want, but I have to say that with Charlotte's expertise in fabric and dress making - we were able to work together to achieve something that was completely perfect for me. My vision was quite a complicated design with several elements which all had to come together including silk, mesh and lace. I was also quite particular about the lace I wanted and the placement of it. Charlotte was super patient and worked with me at every step to ensure I was 100% happy with each part of the dress. I would recommend her services to anyone thinking of getting a bespoke wedding dress made!
