Price guide for our bespoke wedding dresses

No obligation consultations, which generally last about an hour are free of charge.

Bespoke wedding dress design starts at £3000.
All designs are priced individually, based on the work involved in creating your design. On average, a wedding dress will cost in the region of £3000-£4000 upwards.

All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT.

A deposit of 50% (non-refundable) of the quoted price is required to secure my services.

The cost of a wedding dress will only increase if dramatic changes are made to the design along it’s journey, which will affect materials and labour significantly, but I will keep this to a minimum as much as possible.

Home visits for consultations and fittings are available for which travels expenses are charged a a flat rate of £50 per visit.

(Please note that the option for home visits is available for special circumstances only, it is always preferable for me to work in my own environment with all of my equipment to hand. I’m also reluctant to make a home visit when the dress is made in final fabrics, as despite protection measures, I would hate to take a risk with your dress).

I only make bridal veils and accessories for brides who have also commissioned a dress.
Prices for a plain veil in tulle or chiffon start from £250. An embroidered veil would start from £500 depending on the veil design.

Pricing FAQ’s
What does the fee pay for?
My fee, pays for me, it becomes my wage while I am making your wedding dress. It also pays for my premises fees, and little bits and bobs which keep my business going.
My premises are lovely, but humble … so that keeps the costs down for my brides, so they are free to have beautiful but affordable gowns

How much time do I need to plan to get my wedding gown made for me?

It’s best to allow at least 6 months to complete your dress from design to finished gown.

That said, it is possible to complete a wedding dress in just 2 months.

Can I have an appointment in my own home?

Charlotte will travel to your home to hold a consultation or fitting at your home, or a meeting in a cafe or work place if you prefer, at a fee of £50 per visit to cover extra time and travel expenses.

(Please note that the option for home visits is available for special circumstances only, it is always preferable for me to work in my own environment with all of my equipment to hand. I’m also reluctant to make a home visit when the dress is made in final fabrics, as despite protection measures, I would hate to take a risk with your dress during transport - rainy days etc).

Will sample gowns fit me?

As a bespoke designer, sample gowns are not always kept in stock.

You will receive your very own maquette of your dress which we can play around with during the design process, which is a whole lot more fun!

Charlotte is planning a showcase collection later in 2013 which will be made in varying sizes so there will be some things to play dress-up in very soon!

I’m planning on losing weight, how will this affect my dress?

Often a small amount of weight-loss will not dramatically affect your dress design. As we progress though your fittings, it is natural that we will nip and tuck your dress into shape to fit you perfectly, so we can tweak as we go!

If however you have a larger planned weight-loss, it’s best to wait until you have reached a weight nearer to your target weight, as large amounts of weight loss between fittings can dramatically alter certain details, such as neckline shape - but this really depends on each design.
